Humans of Central Appalachia borrows its title from a collection of hundreds of interviews conducted by Malcolm Wilson among the people of the Central Appalachian region, telling their family stories, sharing their Appalachian memories and experiences, and offering their views and ideas about the shape and form of Appalachian rebirth.
