Youth Mental Health

Dr. Terry Brooks

Mara Powell

Terry Brooks, the Executive Director of Kentucky Youth Advocates, hosts a series that delves into the mental health of young Americans - a major concern of our time. The COVID-19 pandemic forced many young people to spend their formative years in isolation, but the silver lining is that lockdowns and work-from-home experiences have made people more comfortable discussing mental health issues.

Dr. Brooks and Mara Powell, Chief External Affairs Officer of KYA, share their valuable insights and expertise with the audience of WEKU.
