Historian Thomas Weyant discusses his research, supported by the Kentucky Historical Society, into how the cold war between the U.S. and the former Soviet Union influenced the modern American Christmas. The Kentucky Historical Society research fellowship program provides funding for academic researchers, whose projects focus on Kentucky or larger regional-related topics.
