Lee Carroll and Connie Milligan have been traveling the world, seeking out musicians in places like Senegal, Ghana and Cuba and through their non-profit Green Room Exchange, inviting those artists to come to Lexington as their guests to perform and make new friends. On Thursday, Nov. 17 at Base 249 in downtown Lexington they will host "Celebrate the Creative", a unique fundraiser in support of the GRE mission, featuring a silent auction of experiences including an opportunity to observe a production of Eastern Standard as well as a wide variety of contributions by artists and music lovers.
